# Sales Location

Sales channel locations define where your goods end up after leaving your warehouse. There are four types: B2B customer, Retail country, Retail store, and Final client.

## B2B customer location

<Steps>
  <Step title="Click '+ Create location'">
    Go to the Locations page and click **+ Create location**.

  <Step title="Select 'B2B customer'">
    Open the Type menu and select **B2B customer**. This covers all B2B customers in a given country.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter a name and select country">
    Enter an identifiable name for the B2B customer(s) and select the country where they are located.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Create location**.
  </Step>

## Retail country location

Use this type if you have several retail stores in a country and don't want to register each one individually.

  <Step title="Click '+ Create location'">
    Click **+ Create location** again.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select 'Retail country'">
    Open the Type menu and select **Retail country**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter a name">
    Enter an identifiable name. Include the country and time period — for example, "7 retail stores, France 23/24".
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select country and time period">
    Select the country and enter the reporting period (typically your financial year).

    <Note>
      If you open more stores in a new financial year, create a new retail country with the updated number of stores and capacity.
    </Note>

  <Step title="Enter capacity, storage time, and number of stores">
    Enter the combined capacity of all stores in square metres, the average time goods are stored, and the total number of stores in this retail country.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Create location**.
  </Step>

## Retail store location

Use this type for a specific store with a known address.

  <Step title="Click '+ Create location'">
    Click **+ Create location** again and select **Retail store**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter name, country, and address">
    Enter an identifiable name, select the country, enter the total capacity in square metres (including storage space), the average time goods are in the store, and the full address.

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Create location**.
  </Step>

## Final client location

Use this type for direct B2C deliveries to a specific customer.

    Click **+ Create location** and select **Final client**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter name and country">
    Enter an identifiable name and select the country where the final client is located.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Create location**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Unknown / ex works location

<Note>
  If clients pick up goods from your warehouse and transport them to unknown destinations, select **Unknown**. An unknown location is already created for you by default. You can rename it and narrow the region to e.g. Europe or Asia if you know where the goods end up. Click **Update location** to save any changes.
