# Share Screening

> How to share a product screening with suppliers or partners so they can fill in their data directly.

The Share Screening feature lets you invite suppliers or partners to fill in production-related data directly in your screening. This removes the need for back-and-forth emails and ensures data is entered accurately at the source.

Each supplier only sees the parts of the screening that are relevant to their data — they cannot see your full product setup.

## How it works

1. You send a link to your supplier
2. The supplier opens the link and fills in their data directly in the screening
3. You can revoke access at any time
4. Shared screenings are available as structured data, not static files
5. If a shared screening is used as a component, updates are automatically reflected

## How to share a screening

  <Step title="Find the screening you want to share">
    Go to the Screenings overview and locate the relevant screening.

  <Step title="Open the actions menu">
    Click the three dots (**...**) next to the screening.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select 'Request screening data'">
    Click **Request screening data** from the dropdown. This was previously called 'External sharing' — the name was updated to better reflect its purpose.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Generate and send the link">
    Follow the on-screen steps to generate a sharing link. Copy the link and send it to your supplier via email or any other channel.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Revoke access when done">
    Once your supplier has filled in their data, you can revoke access at any time from the same menu.

  Only share links with trusted suppliers or partners. Anyone with the link can fill in data for that screening section.

## Using shared screenings as components

Shared screenings can be added as components in your own product screenings. When the supplier updates their data, the changes are automatically reflected in any screening where it is used as a component — keeping your climate footprints up to date without manual work.
