Materials define the physical components of your product and where they are produced. Follow the steps below to add them correctly.

Click 'Add material'

In your screening, click Add material to add a new material entry.

Enter a label name

Search for the material type (e.g. “Steel screws/bolts”) and type a recognisable label name for the material.

Enter the weight

Type the weight of the material.

Choose the production location

Select the location where the material is produced — for example, “Location of steel production”.

Choose the manufacturing location

Choose the location of manufacturing. You can select either your supplier locations or geographical locations.
Remember to fill in your production waste for the incoming material you receive from your supplier.

Save your material

Click Update material to save.
